One 32+ monitor or two 17 monitors?

As i always need to run multiple applications, I plan to buy one more monitor to make working easier. Should i use 2 monitors or just 1 single 32;+ monitor? Say i run excel and word at the same time, are the displayable area of the above two options more or less the same?

I have never seen a computer monitor larger than 30" unless you were talking about LCD/Plasma TVs, but to use a LCD or Plasma TV as a monitor, it better has full HD support (otherwise 1366x768 resolution is considered very low for such a large display), and there are no full HD LCD or plasma TVs that are less than 40". But anyway, I would suggest you get 2 x 19". It is the most cost efficient setup right now. Currently 19" gives most bang for the buck. Although it doesn't have any resolution advantage over 17" (they have the same amount of pixels), the 19" is better for you eyes. If you have money, you should get 2 x 24", but 2 x 19" is a sweet setup already.
